To sum it up, our produce and products are…

Sustainably & Organically Grown

We use natural growing methods, and source local, natural fertilisers. The only time you will ever find us spraying our produce - it will be with kelp spray!

A lot of the trees we grow are full size heritage varieties, (these can get up to 6 metres tall!). These maximise output in a small orchard, producing a larger amount of food for their space, they have larger root systems so require less water and fertilisers and are also less affected by extreme weather. Ultimately playing a very important part of a sustainable and regenerative system, less input to output - the key to a sustainability!

Nutrient Dense

These days, we are struggling to get the nutrients our bodies need from our food to function effectively. The majority of our produce comes from heritage seeds and trees (most of these are sourced from Koanga Institute). Using heritage lines of fruit and vegetables alongside organic/regenerative growing methods, founded on using soil that is alive and full of all of the minerals and vitamins that large scale, monoculture, commercial growing is simply unable to achieve. We believe we are doing the most we can to grow food that is nutrient dense and simply, full of natural goodness!

Locally Sold

Selling local is important to us, firstly it limits our carbon footprint. Secondly it allows us to pick our fruit when it’s ripe and ready, not having to allow for travel time - did you know that a lot of a fruits flavour and nutrients are put into it right before it ripens! So, if it is picked early for travel (like most store-bought fruits) it misses out on that.

Come find us at the Cambridge Farmers Market or look out for our produce and products at your local wholefoods store.
